Business Development Manager
April received a BA in a self-designed Environmental Education major, which included an Arkansas high school teaching certificate, from Hendrix College. She is a graduate of the University of Arkansas, Division of Agriculture LeadAR Class 13 and Leadership Greater Little Rock Class XXIX (LGLR). Both prestigious programs are dedicated to the education of Arkansas’ emerging leaders on the economic and social changes affecting the state. She is a LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design and Construction and a Living Building Challenge Ambassador.
In 2014, April was the recipient of the USGBC AR Green Tie for Central Arkansas Member of the year and was recognized by Arkansas Business on the 40 Under 40 list of the most intriguing business and political leaders. In 2011, she was named Outstanding Young Alumna by her alma mater, Hendrix College, a Eco-Hero by Arkansas Green Guide and featured in iCon Magazine (Vol. 1, Issue 2).
April has presented on sustainability to various groups including: ISSB Earth Month Business Conference, Global Reporting Initiative’s Sustainability Conference, BOMA GLR’s Spring Education Day, National Women’s Leadership Summit, American Society of Interior Designers, IIDA, AIA Memphis, LeadAR, Arkansas Municipal League, Pulaski County Democratic Committee, U.S. Green Building Council’s Sustainable Arkansas, Little Rock Sustainability Summit, Little Rock Racial & Cultural Diversity Commission and National Guard Women’s Speaker Series, Arkansas Equalization Board, Arkansas Festival Association Conference, USGBC Arkansas, Memphis, and Louisiana Chapter Branches and Residential Discussion Group, Rotary Clubs, and many local colleges/universities, environmental groups, and media outlets.
April’s current responsibilities include business delopment and education for Entegrity’s Sustainability and Energy Services Division as well as serving as a technical expert for sustainability projects. She has been involved with the design and implementation of over 150 new and existing LEED projects in nearly all of the different rating systems spanning 4 different versions.
Specific areas of expertise include education, business development, project management, and expertise of LEED, arc, Living Building Challenge and WELL building standards.
