Robby graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 2007 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. After graduating he worked for two years as a pump engineer for an oil services company. During this time he provided engineering support for the manufacturing shop by inspecting parts, conducting pump tests, and analyzing hydraulic pump stages.
In 2010 he returned to the University of Arkansas to further his education and in 2013 earned a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, where he researched building energy modeling, as well as assisting in industrial energy audits with the Arkansas Industrial Energy Clearinghouse. During his course of study he also served as a Teaching Assistant for the University’s Freshmen Engineering Program, as well as completing several internships at several manufacturing plants.
Current responsibilities as Energy Engineer include energy modeling, energy assessments, LEED documentation requirements and providing engineering support for the project team.
