Entegrity was hired by WER Architects/Planners for the systems commissioning of the Don Tyson Center for Agricultural Sciences for the University of Arkansas. The Don Tyson Center offers several spaces for rent, including board rooms, conference rooms, and an event hall. The center often hosts various meetings, trainings, workshops, award ceremonies, lectures, company retreats, and school visits. The center serves University of Arkansas students and faculty, as well as members of the community.
As the commissioning agent for this project, Entegrity looked at everything from HVAC controls, interior and exterior lighting, and exhaust systems to water systems and air distribution for the 52,000 square-foot facility. The commissioning team was also responsible for commissioning specialty equipment such as fume hoods and special lab room exhaust necessary for the research laboratory wing of the Don Tyson Center.
In addition, Entegrity provided sustainability counselling for LEED certification and the building achieved LEED Silver Certification in New Construction in January of 2021.
