Arkansas Children’s Northwest Hospital

The 248,000 square-foot hospital is a new construction hospital and central energy plant. It is the region’s first and only comprehensive pediatric healthcare center and includes 24 inpatient beds to care for children requiring overnight stays, 24-hour pediatric Emergency Department, and a state-of-the-art pediatric surgery unit with 5 operating rooms. The new facility also includes an outpatient clinic with 30 exam rooms catering to more than 20 sub-specialties areas and a general pediatric clinic.

With this new building, employees can offer a full range of ancillary and diagnostic services, child-life social work, and pastoral care programs. The grounds include outdoor gardens, nature trails, interactive features designed specifically for children, and a helipad with a refueling station supporting Angel One, one of the nation’s leading pediatric intensive care transport services.

Entegrity provided commissioning services for the project. Systems commissioned include HVAC Systems (Chilled Water, Heating Water, Air Handling, Humidification etc.), HVAC Systems tied to the Building Automation System, Plumbing Systems, Medical Gas Systems, Electrical Systems, Fire Alarm System, Fire Protection System, and Interior Lighting and Exterior Lighting.
