OVERVIEW
Helix Community Schools partnered with Entegrity and Community Energy Alliance to address outdated lighting across multiple educational facilities in the Baton Rouge area. The project included LED lighting upgrades at Mentorship Academy, Mentorship Athletics, and Baker High School, with improvements spanning classrooms, common areas, athletic spaces, and performing arts facilities.
Entegrity helped identify the lighting opportunities and supported Helix in securing funding through the Louisiana Public Service Commission’s (LPSC) Statewide Energy Efficiency Program for Public Entities. The resulting upgrades were completed in approximately 2.5 weeks, providing a targeted facility improvement with minimal disruption.
The new LED systems reduce lighting energy use and maintenance needs while significantly improving light levels in many of the upgraded spaces.
