Project

Hendrix College

In the spring of 2017, Hendrix College selected Entegrity to develop a comprehensive lighting retrofit program at the college. Having signed the American College and University Presidents Climate Commitment (ACUPCC) in 2016, Hendrix was interested in energy efficiency projects that would reduce the school’s carbon footprint while also generating a high return on investment.

Hendrix College partnered with Entegrity to convert approximately 15,000 light fixtures to LED technology through an energy savings performance contract. This project came with guaranteed annual savings of over $200,000 and a full 5-year warranty on all lamps and fixtures. These lighting improvements will continue to generate over $1 million in net energy and maintenance savings for the college through 2027.

Hendrix College is a private liberal arts college located in Conway, Arkansas. Founded in 1876 and affiliated with the United Methodist Church since 1884, Hendrix is nationally recognized in numerous college guides, lists, and rankings for academic quality, community, innovation, undergraduate teaching and value.
