K-12 School Projects

Project

Mountain View School District

Mountain View School District has over 370,000 square feet of school facilities in its jurisdiction.  In addition to paying almost $50,000 per year in unnecessary energy expense, the District was also paying an estimated $18,000 in annual maintenance costs to replace the lamps and ballasts associated with this dated technology.

Recognizing the need to eliminate these costs, Mountain View Schools hired Entegrity in late 2015 to convert 100% of its interior and exterior fixtures to LED. The District was eligible to receive an estimated $80,000 from its electric utility as co-funding for the project. This allowed Mountain View to finance the project on a 5-year term with the knowledge that the annual energy and maintenance savings would exceed the payments.
